What & How

Objective & Approach

Objective

Convert Clinical Challenges into Implementation-Ready Solutions

Jeevi Buildathon is not an idea competition. Every participant leaves with a tangible, testable prototype grounded in a real clinical problem — from a hospital ward, pharmacy, dental clinic, or nursing setting. The goal is execution, not ideation.

Approach

Hybrid · Mentor-Led · Outcome-Driven

4 Virtual Workshops (May) — Design Thinking → Value Proposition Canvas → Lean Canvas → Prototyping. Each session builds on the last, guided by expert facilitators and IMC content.

In-Person Showcase (June 12–13) — The top 5 teams present live at Healthcare Summit 2026, Hyderabad, in front of 450+ C-Suite healthcare leaders.

Workshop 01

Design Thinking

~1 Hour · Virtual · May 2026

0:00 – 0:15

Empathy Mapping

Step inside the shoes of your user — a patient, clinician, pharmacist or nurse. Map what they see, hear, think and feel. Real problems start with real people.

0:15 – 0:35

Problem Definition

Translate empathy into a sharp problem statement.
Who is your user? What is the real pain? Why does it matter now?
Teams leave with one clear, validated problem to build on.

0:35 – 0:55

Ideation Sprint

Rapid idea generation guided by facilitators. Teams explore multiple directions before converging on the most promising solution concept for their clinical challenge.

After Session

Homework

Talk to at least two real users before the next session. A doctor, patient, pharmacist or nurse. Validate your problem is real — arrive with evidence.

Workshop 02

Value Proposition Canvas

~1 Hour · Virtual · May 2026

0:00 – 0:20

Customer Profile

Map your user’s jobs-to-be-done, pains and gains in clinical context.
What are they trying to achieve? What frustrates them? What would delight them?

0:20 – 0:40

Value Map

Define exactly how your solution creates gains, relieves pains and supports the user’s clinical workflow. Test fit between your solution and the user’s actual needs.

0:40 – 1:00

Fit Assessment

Mentor-guided review of each team’s canvas. Does the solution truly match the problem? Teams refine their value proposition before moving to the Lean Canvas.

Workshop 03

Lean Canvas

~1 Hour · Virtual · May 2026

0:00 – 0:20

Problem & Solution Blocks

Compress everything learned so far into a single-page business model. Define the top 3 problems, your unique value proposition and the solution in clear terms.

0:20 – 0:40

Channels, Revenue & Metrics

Who are your early adopters? How does the solution reach them?
What does success look like — measured, not assumed.
Teams stress-test viability with mentor guidance.

0:40 – 1:00

Unfair Advantage

What makes your solution uniquely positioned — clinical access, domain knowledge, institutional backing? Teams crystallise their edge before entering the prototyping session.

Workshop 04

Prototyping & Digital Tools

~1 Hour · Virtual · May 2026

0:00 – 0:15

Choose Your Format

Pick the right prototype format for your idea —
Clickable Wireframe
(apps & digital tools),
Service Blueprint
(hospital/clinic workflows), or
Storyboard
(devices & AI tools).

0:15 – 0:45

Build Sprint

30-minute focused build using Figma, Canva, FigJam or Google Slides. Mentors in breakout rooms — one per 2–3 teams. No code. No prior design experience needed.

0:45 – 1:00

Peer Review & Refine

Teams exchange prototypes for structured feedback. Incorporate insights and push your prototype to a shareable, submittable state with mentor support.

After Workshop

Submit Prototype

Submit your completed prototype and a one-slide summary after the session.
Submissions are evaluated on problem clarity, clinical relevance, prototype quality and implementation potential. Top 5 teams are announced publicly.
